Greater Roadrunner with rabbit's foot

I’ve posted recently about the Greater Roadrunner that has been visiting our backyard again, and with some locally cold temps (just under freezing overnight) the roadrunner has been looking for any sort of food.

On this visit the roadrunner was finding some sort of berry or seed scattered in our yard from the neighbor’s tree next door, and as it explored the yard it found what appears to be a rabbit’s foot. We have a lot of rabbit activity in the yard (another), but we hadn’t been aware that at least one of them had expired in the yard. Our assumption it had a fatal encounter with the local Great Horned Owl, but it could possibly have been one of the cats from the neighborhood, or even a coyote.
