Discovered them while searching for pics of grebes and loons, which seem to be often mislabled (including on our blog). We started as backyard birders and our interest has grown from there. I do love to photograph birds in our yard. Problem is that we now have a "blah" yard and there are only "blah" birds coming to the feeders. I have been to the Riparian you mentioned. Loved that area.
